Weather was terrific with calm day. 12 on board fishing plus crew, 8-10 would be plenty fishing from this vessel. Three fish only caught, with majority under size. That’s how it goes. Presentation of boat is poor, provision of on board snacks and lunch was very basic, expected better. This craft needs a mystery visit assessment from Fishing Broker to see if you wish to remain associated with this operator.

We (myself, two sons, two grandsons) were unable to go fishing on any day of our trip (4 days) due to strong winds. Ross (Grennan, skipper) could not help this anymore than we could.  Despite this he was extremely helpful in finding an alternative charter for us so that we were able to get in one day of inshore fishing. This was most important to us otherwise our whole trip would have been a washout from a fishing point of view.
We got to know Ross quite well, despite not actually going fishing with him. We found him easy to get along with, very helpful, and most importantly, very focussed on the needs of us as customers.
Based on everything except an actual fishing experience, I would unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone considering a fishing experience at Townsville.
