Rogel took 2 of us out for a half day reef fishing trip and we had a great time.  Caught lots of snapper even though the wind was blowing pretty hard.  He knew some spots that were less windy and the fish were definitely there.  Unfortunately the wind was too strong to go after grouper on the outside of the reef but still a great trip.  Rogel is very knowledgeable of the waters around San Pedro, he is very easy going, and he was early to pick us up and fave us a little extra time trying to get a Baracuda which we hooked but did not land.  I would highly recommend Rogel for your fishing trip.  He also does other adventures and they sound wonderful.  Hopefully we will get a chance to use him again on our next trip to Ambregris Caye.

Rogel (Roger) Sanchez is a very talented fisherman. He was efficient and prepared us for a great day. Not all fishing days are catching days, but we sure caught a bunch a fish. Several really great black snappers. Rogel is a pro, he was a commercial fisherman and definitely knows the spots.

He didn’t over promise, but he definitely over delivered. I can’t recommend him enough. We had such a great day that we booked another day. The next day we snorkeled and had an even more magnificent day. This guy is phenomenal. We are booking future dates. He’s literally the best we’ve experienced.

We had the perfect 1/2 day trip with Captain Roger from the pickup at our resort dock to catching at least a 1/2 dozen types of fish on both sides of the reef to catching an awesome barracuda trolling on our way back. Captain Roger knew where to go. His boat was pristine. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and a huge plus he had live bait ready to go which is critical. He also had great equipment.  We will be booking him from now on every time we are in San Pedro. We could not have been happier with him. We’ve been fishing in San Pedro for 10 years now and he is definitely one of the best we’ve chartered

Rogel and first mate David were very professional and worked tirelessly the entire trip. We caught two barracuda and our line snapped on a marlin. Although we didn’t catch many fish, these two worked constantly throughout the day to put them on. It was a day of many bites, just not many being hooked. I really appreciated how hard they tried and would recommend Rogel to others.

He was on time and each place we stopped we were on fish. I wanted some fish for a group dinner. We took care of that and had them cooked at 303. It was great. He also coached me on some fly fishing that I’d never done before. We didn’t catch anything on the fly rod but the fish were there and I was a complete rookie. Thanks Rogel, I have good stories to share
