Rogel is an amazing captain and has extensive knowledge of the area. He knew what areas to fix for great action and catching.

We went on a search for manatees and he was the only captain to find one. He knew where to look when the “regular spots” weren’t working.

He cooked up our catch and shared with other groups who didn’t catch like we did. Food was delicious!!! We were able to explore Caye Caulker while he prepped. We saw the seahorse and tarpon preserve while on the island.

After our lunch he stopped at the coral gardens to jump out and snorkel. Then we finished our day with one more round of fishing.

He was pleasant and knowledgeable all day and allowed us to customize our trip because it wasn’t our first time to San Pedro. We greatly appreciated our time and will def be using him again for our next trip.

What a great trip!!  Rogel, who owns a small independent operation, did a fantastic job putting us on the fish.  We caught a wide variety and had some fast action.  We then lobster and conch hunted and once again we were not disappointed.  I got lobster almost immediately as did one of the other guys.  Conch were everywhere!!  Rogel free dove and found additional lobster to ensure that everyone would be able to enjoy some at lunch.  The meal was top notch.  Never had anything taste so good.  We enjoyed the trip so much; we were able to schedule another half day adventure for later in the week.  Highly recommend and hope to fish with him again another time

Contacted Captain Rogel back in mid/late December 23’ about a fishing trip for 1/1/24. This was to be a 21st Birthday present for my youngest son. Unfortunately, because we were on a cruise ship, disemembarkment was in Belize City, not San Pedro where Rogel is based. Kinda lost hope for the trip, based on the small timeline for fishing (Cruise Ship Docked at 9 am and depredated at 5 pm) and the logistics involved in getting from Belize City up towards San Pedro. On a whim, I reached back out to Rogel on 12/30/23 to see if there were any other options. Rogel responded almost immediately, as was the case nearly every time I messaged him. Long story short, Capt. Rogel made the trip happen!! Rather than taking 2 water taxis, spending nearly 150$ and wasting valuable fishing time getting from Belize City up to San Pedro, Captain Rogel came and picked us up!!! There is an added Fee for pick up but WELL WORTH IT!! Rogel clearly has a love for what he does, and he’s good at it! His brother also joined us as 1st mate, and they make an excellent team! Started the trip with some historical facts about the area we were fishing, then located and locked in on and netted some bait fish. Next thing we were fishing just of the reef and catching fish almost immediately. Yellow Snapper, Red Snapper, some jack fish, and black tip shark to name a few. The catch of the day has to go to my 21 year old son. He got a really nice barracuda, an awesome way to cap off an amazing fishing trip. If you’re looking for knowledgeable, professional, caring, safe and successful Captain, then look no further. Captain Rogel of “Rogel’s Adventures” is your guy!! He is simply a really great guy, and he will put you on the fish!!

The most important thing to know is he is a really good guy in love with what he does. You can tell from the moment you meet him. We caught fish, found conch, caught lobster and he made an amazing lunch. He has been doing this for many years and it shows. He knows the water, what to do and how to do it. Let him guide you. You will be happy. Everywhere we went people recognized him and seem to genuinely like him. The snorkeling was amazing. We snorkeled near stingrays and a nurse shark even swam over. He is an experienced free diver and trust me when I say he is a powerful swimmer. You are in good hands. Enjoy your time with him.

We had planned a spear fishing trip out to the reef.  However, due to weather conditions, we needed to reschedule our trip to a later date.  The captain was accommodating to our requested date of availability.  On the day of the trip, I was informed that the captain would NOT be guiding our group, but rather his two sons.  I was concerned about this, since I had no information on their capabilities or experience.  As it turned out, they did a great job at helping us find our quarry and ensured that we didn’t take any fish/lobsters that were out of season or not good eating.  The boat arrived on time at our dock and we were successful in our mission.  The crew then cleaned our fish on the dock and we were ready to cook our fresh catch that evening.
