Panacea Outfitters specializes in a great day on the water, whether you want to go to inshore flats fishing, Shark fishing, bowfishing, gigging, and much more. Captain Tanner Plouffe has a lifelong fishing experience in the area and his family also owns a large bait and tackle store, so he’s always using the latest and greatest gear.
Capt. Tanner owns a 25’ Carolina Skiff that accommodates up to 6 guests. She’s powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine that can reach the maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The boat also has navigational and safety equipment, a live bait tank, and an ice box.
All trips take place in the inshore waters. During colder weather, you’ll fish with a lot of live bait (shrimp), but as soon as it gets warmer, the captain can start trolling and spinning on the flats. Your main targets will be Redfish, Flounder, Cobia, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Tarpon, Black Drum, and many more.
Besides the usual inshore trips, Capt. Tanner also offers night Flounder gigging and bowfishing trips. The special equipment that is necessary for this adventure is also provided.
You can keep any fish within legal limits and the captain will clean and fillet them after the trip. There’s plenty of storage space on the boat, so you can bring your drinks and snacks. If you’re bringing a toddler on board, please bring suitable life jackets for them.
Your next adventure starts in the Rock Landing Marina. Choose one of the amazing trips that Panacea Outfitters offers and get ready to have some fun!
