Underdog Fishing Charters - 24ft

650 Lemoyne Dr
Dauphin Island AL, United States

Put the icing on the cake of your Dauphin Island vacation with a trip with Underdog Fishing Charters. Specializing in inshore as well as offshore fishing, they have two boats at their disposal to give you the best possible introduction to fishing in Alabama.

Underdog Fishing Charters’ larger boat is a 24 ft Blazer Bay boat that is versatile enough to both go after Trout and Redfish in the shallow waters and to go offshore out of sight of land, travelling up to 30 miles out in good conditions. The boat’s powerful Yamaha engine will get you to the best spots in no time, while its large T-Top will protect you from the sun. You will find all the necessary electronics on board the vessel, which the captain will use to get you to his best, proven fishing spots.

Whether you want to fish inshore or offshore, the choice is yours. Underdog Fishing Charters will give you up to date information on the best fish to catch for the season and make sure that your trip will be the best it possibly can be for you and your group.

Once you finish your trip, the crew will clean and fillet the fish you want to keep, bag the fillets in Ziplock bags, and give you tips and advice for storing them.

Captain Joey made my husband’s dream come true!  Didn’t land the big one but had such a blast! Definitely will book again for next year!  We’re hooked!

Very good boat and equipment. Joey was knowable and helpful. Made great effort for us to catch fish but just was not meant to be on this.trip. Hopefully next year trip will be better. Lack of fish was differently not the fault of our guide.

We were unfortunate enough to experience terrible weather, which certainly was not the fault of the fishing guide.  However, we managed to get our hours in and the captain was a great sport. I was disappointed in the size of the snapper we caught compared to the last time we went out, but again this was no one’s fault.  We did catch our limit and also caught several beautiful amberjack, as well as a stingray!  Captain Lynn was friendly and helpful and managed to make the most of terrible weather conditions.  We would recommend him and would use him again (and pray for better weather!).
