Your trip will take place on a 25’ Grady White Gulfstream, powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha engines. It’s equipped with downriggers, GPS, fishfinder, VHF Radio, a private head, and the necessary safety gear. This boat is great for both saltwater and freshwater excursions and fits up to 5 guests comfortably. Kids of all ages are welcome and fish for free!
Sea Beyond Adventures has experienced guides that are ready to take you on a memorable expedition. You’ll be targeting a variety of species including Lingcod, Rockfish, Halibut, Trout, and all 5 of the Pacific Salmon species: Chinook, Coho, Pink, Sockeye, and Chum. This involves trolling or bottom fishing along the waters of North Central Vancouver Island and Campbell River, often referred to as the “Salmon Capital of the World.” Historic Tyee fishing is also available during August and September.
Capt. Gene will prepare you with all necessary tackle, including Nautilus rods and reels. He will also provide live bait, free of charge. Cleaning and filleting are included in the trip price, as well. The captain has coffee and soft drinks available on each trip, just be sure to bring some snacks or lunch in case you get hungry.
