Fish Minocqua will take you on an adventure to some of the most pristine lakes in the world, surrounded by natural highland forests. Captain Dave Lang is on the water 100 days a year and he’s always on top of the fish patterns. He runs a family-friendly charter and he loves helping people catch their first game fish. His guests have ranged from 6 to 92 years old!
You’ll be fishing out of Capt. Dave’s 20’ Ranger boat. She’s powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine, with a Minnkota electric bow-mount trolling motor. Electronics include Lowrance GPS and color depth-finders. The boat features built-in live wells for bait and your catch and a cooler for your refreshments. She’s also equipped with pedestal seats and accommodates up to 4 anglers.
This part of Wisconsin contains the highest number of lakes, so the fishing opportunities are endless. These lakes are home to Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, and “The Lake King” – Musky, both Natural and Hybrid.
Capt. Dave will have a lake picked for your trip in advance. If the action is less than what was expected, he will pull the boat and try a different lake to make your trip the best that it can be.
Your fishing equipment is provided but there are some things you need to prepare in advance: your fishing license, food and drinks for the day, and proper clothing. If you wish to use live bait, the cost is $15 per angler.
If you need a suggestion for accommodation, Capt. Dave can help. His wife Dianna has been helping people to find lodging for over 20 years, so don’t hesitate to contact them.
Fish Minocqua is here to help you fish in comfort, seize the beautiful surroundings, and be proud of what you’ve caught for the day – it can hardly get any better than that!
