Partake in the adventure of a lifetime and book your next fishing trip with Wicked Fishing Charters Mandeville II! Captain Andrew Jones will take you on an unforgettable journey through the untouched waters of Louisiana’s backcountry where you will be targeting some impressive species that hide below the surface. But beware, for it is said the legendary Kraken lurks beneath these waters!
Your boat for the day will be a 22’ Triton bay boat, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. It comes equipped with a fishfinder, GPS, wireless trolling motor, and necessary safety gear. The captain can take up to 4 guests at a time, including kids ages 7 and up. Something fun that he likes to do when taking kids on board is making them his first mate for the day. They absolutely enjoy this and end up falling in love with fishing after the trip!
Capt. Andrew offers a number of different fishing experiences based on whatever your preferences are. You’ll mainly be fishing in the Mandeville, Slidell, and Lake Catherine areas where you’ll be using light tackle to troll, spin, or bottom fish for species like Black Drum, Catfish, Redfish, and many more. Top-quality Manly Black Ops Penn rods and reels are provided for you on each trip, as well as lures.
Over the past few years, Capt. Andrew’s charters have become so popular that National Geographic has decided to feature his famous “Kraken Hunt” in a documentary that will be airing in April 2019. These expeditions are offered from his other listing location, across Lake Pontchartrain where there are lots of Alligator Gar and Bull Shark.
Fame aside, Capt. Andrew is one of the humblest and kindest southern gentlemen you will meet. His aim is always to provide customers with the best and most affordable fishing experience while teaching people about sustainable fishing practices. Purchase a fishing license, pack some sunscreen and your favorite pair of sunglasses, and book your next fishing trip with Wicked Fishing Charters Mandeville II!
