Capt. Mark has been a Charter Captain since 1999, and his main goal is to put you on fish. As well as this, he likes to run each trip with plenty of humor, so you’ll be smiling from beginning to end as you listen to his tales, and helpful tips and tricks. You’ll have the chance to explore the lower keys inshore, nearshore, and offshore waters, all of which are just bustling with a variety of incredible species.
You’ll be traveling on Capt. Mark’s brand-new 24’ Pair Marine 2400CC. She’s decked out with GPS, fishfinder, a flybridge, and a wireless trolling motor for cruising seriously shallow waters without spooking your target. There’s room for up to 4 guests to cast off at the same time, making this vessel the perfect choice for families with little ones, or groups of angling buddies. Your captain will provide life jackets for all ages, too.
As Capt. Mark says, the best thing about saltwater fishing in Cudjoe Key is that you never know what might end up on your line! Inshore, “the big three” species are Bone Fish, Permit and Tarpon. Reef fishing, you’ll be hooking anything from Yellowtail, Mutton and Mangrove Snapper to King and Spanish Mackerel, to Cobia, and a variety of Shark. Head further out to the Gulf Stream and it tuna, wahoo and Mahi Mahi we target.
