Charleston Fishing Excursions
Charleston Fishing Excursions will take care of your next adventure in Charleston, SC, taking you on an inshore or bowfishing trips. Anglers of all skills are welcome to join Captain Brent Welch. He’s experienced with teaching people how to fish and he’ll make sure you reel in your first catch.
Hop aboard Capt. Brent’s 22’ Bay Scout boat. This bay boat accommodates up to 6 guests and she’s powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. She features all necessary navigational and safety equipment. There’s also a cooler with ice where you can stash your food and drinks. Since space on the boat is limited, please don’t bring your cooler.
If you’re interested in targeting freshwater species, such as Catfish, Carp, Gar, and Bowfin, Capt. Brent will take you on a bowfishing trip. He’ll provide the equipment and help you out if this is your first time holding a bow. Saltwater bowfishing is also an option, only your main targets on that trip will be Flounder, Red Drum, and Sheepshead.
The inshore trip will take you fishing the waterways of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Your main targets for the day will be Shark, Trout, Flounder, Red Drum, and Black Drum.
Capt. Brent will provide your fishing equipment, lures, live bait, and cover your fishing license. Make sure to bring your snacks, drinks, and sunscreen. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation, as long as they are not in glass bottles. Within regulations, you may keep your catch.
Times of the fishing trips are flexible sometimes due to irregular tides.
You can have an exciting, adrenaline-pumping hunt or a simple, relaxing day on the water. Departure time is flexible, so please text your Captain prior to the trip regarding your preferred time! Whatever you desire, Charleston Fishing Excursions can make it happen. Please do have in mind that the Captain does not accept CHECKS.
