Hop aboard Tangledmess Charters and explore Oak Harbor, Ohio! You’ll head out with US coast guard master licensed captain David Furlong. He’s been fishing Lake Erie for over 30 years and loves to show clients around the Walleye capital of the world!
Your vessel for the day is a 31’ Pursuit cuddy cabin boat, ideal for up to 6 anglers. This comfortable beauty has ample seating space, a full bathroom, as well as a microwave and fridge.
The wireless trolling motor comes in handy for sneaking up on your targets and downriggers make trolling a breeze. There’s also a live well to keep your bait fresh and an icebox for your catch.
Your search will be focused exclusively on hooking the most elusive freshwater game fish of them all – Walleye. You’ll jig and troll in Lake Erie’s waters, which are known worldwide as some the best for hooking into trophy-sized fish.
Capt. David provides all the gear you need for a successful day, as well as live bait to further entice the bite. This is a family-friendly charter and kids are more than welcome aboard. Whether you’re a novice or pro, Capt. David will make sure you catch some fish!
Feel free to bring along a cooler with any drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy. Most importantly, don’t forget to pick up a fishing license online or from a local retailer before heading out.
