Crescent City has a fish with your name on it, so let Crescent City Sportfishing Charter help you catch it! Captain David will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod, Crab, and plenty more.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 27’ North River aluminum fishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
