Bonita II Sportfishing Charters

Come visit the Ocean State for some exciting, rod-bending action and book your next trip with Bonita II Sportfishing! Captain Tim Terranova has been running charters for 30 years, introducing people to Rhode Island’s rugged yet beautiful coastline, and having customers fall in love with his home state.

The captain’s 36’ vessel is the only charter boat stationed in Watch Hill Harbor so it’s easy to find. Get ready to cruise the shores in style while being propelled by twin 375 HP Cummins engines. The boat includes state-of-the-art navigational technology, electronics, and a private head. She accommodates up to 6 guests per trip – everyone can bottom fish simultaneously, while 4 can surface fish, and 2 can jig at the same time.

You can already expect to hit productive fishing grounds only 15 minutes from shore. You’ll have a choice between light and heavy tackle while trolling, jigging, spinning, drifting, or bottom fishing. Your main target species will be Rhode Island’s official state fish, the Striped Bass, as well as Black Seabass, Flounder, Bluefish, and many more! After you land a keeper, snap a quick picture and have Capt. Tim clean and fillet your catch for you, free of charge.

Top-quality Penn and Shimano rods and reels are provided, as well as artificial bait and lures. Your captain will take care of your fishing license for you, so you can keep your eye on the prize and focus on the actual fishing.

Make Rhode Island your next fishing destination and try hooking a Grand Slam with Bonita II Fishing Charters! Capt. Tim will take care of you no matter your level of experience and accommodate each trip based on your needs and preferences. Just be sure to pack some of your favorite snacks and drinks, a pair of sunglasses, and a camera to create lasting memories!

First Mate - Gratuity expected and appreciated.

Captain Tim Terranova has been running charters for 30 years. His love for the ocean is encoded in his DNA, passed down from his father who was a captain for 50 years. His father instilled the same love and passion in him that he carried with him throughout all those years. Capt. Tim’s earliest and fondest memories of his childhood are fishing with his father. He loves inspiring younger generations to embrace that same admiration for the open waters, as he once did as a young child. Capt. Tim always provides the best quality service to all of his customers, as well as state-of-the-art tackle and gear. Book your next trip with Bonita II Sportfishing and enjoy the ride of your life while creating lasting, nautical memories!
