Said Sportfishing – 26'
When you’re in La Paz and looking for a memorable angling experience, turn to Said Sportfishing! The pristine and bountiful waters of the area are teeming with trophy fish, and Capt. Miguel Angel Robles Camacho with his crew can take you right to them.
His 26’ sportfisher is a lean fishing machine with twin 150 HP Yamaha engines and more than enough room to accommodate up to 4 anglers. The vessel is fast and stable, so even if you’re 30+ miles offshore, you have a great fishing platform. You’ll also find a private toilet on board, so you can hit the waves in full comfort.
Seeing that these are some of the best billfishing grounds on the planet, it’s hardly a surprise that many anglers come here to chase their next personal record. Striped Marlin is one of the most popular catches, along with its cousin Blue and Sailfish.
Capt. Miguel Angel is also an expert in putting you on sizeable Yellowfin Tuna, and if you’re a fan of bottom dwellers, then Grouper, Amberjack, and Cubera Snapper are available in great numbers.
When going on a trip with Said Sportfishing, you don’t have to worry about the tackle, your guide will have everything at the ready when you come aboard. You can either buy the fishing license on your own, or let the captain handle it for a small additional charge.
Drinks and snacks are included in the price, but you can bring your own as well. If you hook a good-eating fish, the captain will clean and fillet it, so that you can enjoy it in the form of a delicious dinner when you get home.
If you decide it’s time for the kids to join you on your fishing expeditions, you’re welcome to bring them, Capt. Miguel Angel will have suitable life jackets for everyone. Everything is ready, so you just need to hit the water, fight your catch, and land something you get to brag about!
