Experience inshore and offshore fishing in Durban, South Africa with Off The Hook Charters! Captain Fidaa Daway is a seasoned pro who caters to anglers of all skill levels. If you’re in town with family, don’t skip his Durban Harbor inshore trips. If you’re a more seasoned angler you won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to target pelagic gamefish further offshore.
You’ll be casting off of a 29’ Leecat walkaround, powered by twin Yahama 200 HP engines. She can easily accommodate up to 11 anglers for inshore trips and up to 9 anglers for offshore trips. There’s plenty of ice storage, but you will need to bring a cooler if you plan to take your catch home with you.
Wherever you choose to venture, you’re sure to come across a wide variety of species. Closer to the harbor and in the bluffs, you’ll be chasing the likes of Kingfish, Shad (Bluefish), and tasty Coral Trout. Head further out and you’ll troll for Mahi Mahi, Mackerel, and Barracuda. Let Capt. Fidaa know what you’re after and he’ll get you on it!
Rods, reels, and a variety of high-quality tackle await you on board. Just bring any snacks and refreshments you’d like to enjoy during the trip. Also, don’t forget to purchase a fishing license at any post office before you arrive.
Enjoy quality fishing year-round with Off The Hook Charters!
