Join Galveston Trophy Charters for your Texas inshore adventure! Captain Blake Sartor has been fishing in the area his entire life and if there’s one thing he knows, that’s how to put people on fish!
Your adventure will begin at Kemah boat ramp, where Capt. Blake will welcome you to his boat, a 24’ Mako. This center console accommodates up to 5 people and there’s enough room for everyone to fish at the same time. You won’t waste your time reaching the fishing spot, as the boat is very fast and will get you there in no time. She’s powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine and also features a live bait tank, an ice box, safety and navigational equipment.
Your main targets for the day will be various inshore species, such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, or Sheepshead. You can try out different techniques, like popping, spinning, bottom or drift fishing – whatever works best.
Even if you lack fishing experience, you’ll have a great time. Capt. Blake will show you the basics and help you reel in your first fish. Come as a novice, leave as an angler! Kids are also welcome and life vests are provided for them.
Make sure to purchase your fishing license before the trip and prepare some food and drinks for the day. There’s enough space for your cooler on the boat. Captain Blake will prepare your fishing equipment and lures. In case you want to use live bait, it costs $15 per angler.
