His 30’ Sportcraft is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities designed to give you the best fishing experience no matter what. This includes a Lowrance GPS and fishfinder, VHF radio, a 350 HP Mercruiser engine, and outriggers with large sled-like boards for trolling. She also comes with a private head and space for 6 guests to fish at the same time. However, Capt. Dwight recommends 4 people per trip for the ultimate experience.
His Sportcraft is docked in Foxhaven Marina on Catawba Island, conveniently located close to some of the most productive fishing grounds on Lake Erie. Capt. Dwight loves taking his guests jigging for Walleye in April when that technique works the best. Post spawn, he specializes in trolling and/or casting while drifting when targeting Walleye. Yellow Perch are caught while anchored.
You’ll be provided with premium rods and reels, as well as live bait and lures. Just be sure to purchase your fishing license before the trip and meet Capt. Dwight at the nearby McDonalds on Catawba Island, just a mile drive from the boat or at the boat. There’s also free customer parking at the dock.
