Head out into the Chesapeake Bay for an unforgettable adventure with Smokin’ Reelz Charters. You’ll be fishing alongside an experienced guide who’s learned to navigate these waters as a young kid, so no matter your level of experience, you can rest assured that Captain Thomas Hosselrode will put you on some massive fish!
The Spring season is the best time to troll for Striped Bass because the big ones come up into the bay to breed. After Spring comes to an end, Capt. Thomas likes to take his guests chumming for smaller Stripers, something that’s fun and enjoyable for everyone. During the Summer months, you can also do some light tackle jigging for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Spotted Seatrout as well.
With the captain’s vast expertise and knowledge of the Chesapeake, you can expect to reach some of the most productive fishing grounds in no time! The boat’s twin 320 HP CAT engines will also help to bring you where you want to be even quicker.
His 40’ Deadrise comes fully outfitted with everything you’d need for a full day of fishing. This includes outriggers, navigational equipment, a live bait tank, private head, and safety gear. The deck is spacious, fits up to 6 guests comfortably, and is perfect for families with children.
Along with the boat’s amenities, you’ll fish like a pro using top-quality Penn rods and reels. Live bait and lures are also provided on each trip to ensure you have the best experience possible while you’re out on the water. You’ll also have a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. However, if you are a more experienced angler, you can request to not have a first mate at all. Just let the captain know in advance.
Smokin’ Reelz Charters has everything you’re looking for and more. Your fishing license is included in the price, so all you need to bring are extra layers of clothing, some food and drinks, and a positive attitude. Get ready to work up an appetite and reel in some big Stripers right in time for dinner!
