For your next trip to Florida, book a trip with Roosterfish Charters. Captain Rooster will make sure you have a great day fishing with him. He is a local to the area and has over 40 years of fishing experience in these waters – he knows the best places to take you for the most productive day out. Beginners are welcome on board and will love learning the ropes from him.
The day will be spent on the 23’ bay boat, which offers a smooth dry ride out. This is perfect for shallow water fishing as the boat comes equipped with a sight tower and wireless trolling motor, giving you an extra edge over your prey. This boat is great at maneuvering around the flats and offers anglers the ability to fish all the way around the boat – this lessens the likelihood of losing your fish under the boat. There is also a removable cover to protect you from the sun if you need it.
Depending on the season, you can expect to catch Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Cobia, Amberjack, and plenty more. The captain will advise on seasonality, limits, and which fish can be taken home to eat! These ones will be filleted by the captain at the end of the trip for you. Have a cooler with ice in the car ready to take the fish home in.
Included in the price are top quality rods and reels from Bull Bay, as well as live bait, and fishing licenses for the whole group. Everything you need to successfully fish is on board, ready and waiting for you!
You should bring along some snacks to keep your energy up. These, and any other drink you decide to bring along, can go into the captain’s cooler on board. You’re welcome to bring beer along, but it should be in cans and not glass bottles. Water is provided by the captain.
