It’s time to book a saltwater fishing trip on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries with Reel Blonde Charters and Outdoors. Captain Stuart has been fishing his whole life and offers a versatile fishing opportunity to his anglers. He trailers his boat, so if one river is inaccessible or not productive, you can fish in one of the other ones instead.
Spend the day on the 25’ center console. There is plenty of space to walk around the whole boat, along with shade and a sight casting platform. This will give you the extra edge when hunting down your prey.
You could be fishing in Chesapeake Bay, York River, James River, or Rappahannock River on these trips. This offers a variety of species to target, including Striped Bass, Catfish, Redfish, Cobia, Flounder, Black Drum, and plenty more. The captain will let you know which fish of what size can be kept.
If you’re okay with dogs and the weather is good, the captain’s yellow lab Nelli will come aboard, too. She’s very friendly and makes the perfect first mate! Children over 5 are welcome on board. You should bring life vests for the children with you.
Also included in the price are the conventional rods and reels and bowfishing equipment. Talk to the captain before the trip if you wish to bowfish. The fishing license for the whole group is also provided.
You’ll just need to bring along your own food and drink, which can go into the captain’s cooler on board. Pack your shades, sunscreen, and a hat and you’re good to go.
