Providing a great day on the water is what Summer Bandit Charters strives for! The western basin of Lake Erie is their home and there’s hardly any fishing spot they don’t know about. Their captains take the time to teach all novices how to jig, troll, or cast and help them to catch their first fish.
Captain Paul Coutcher will meet you at the Oak Harbor and welcome you to his 27’ Sportcraft boat. She accommodates up to 6 anglers, so there’s plenty of room for your fishing buddies or your family to come along. The boat features safety equipment, a private toilet, an ice-box, and a live bait tank. Life jackets for the kids are also available.
From April till October, Capt. Paul and his crew are at the lake every day. In case this boat is booked for the date you’re looking for, simply visit their second page and check if the 30’ Sportcraft is available.
Walleye season starts in April and you’ll mostly troll for them. In July, Perch fishing kicks off and you can usually catch them with jigging and live bait. For all fishing enthusiasts who want to target both species, Capt. Paul offers a special treat – an extended, 12-hour combo trip!
The captain will provide all gear, bait (including live bait), and tackle. You need to purchase your fishing license in advance and bring your food and drinks for the day. There’s enough room on the boat, so feel free to bring your cooler with you.
Summer Bandit Charters strives to make your day on Lake Erie one you’ll never forget. Enjoy the scenery, take a breath of fresh air, and learn a thing or two about fishing.
