Tours Hvar offers a wide range of fishing activities along the Dalmatian archipelago, catering to all types of anglers, from novice to pro. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing trip of sightseeing and light fishing, or a deep-sea excursion targeting big game fish, Captain Mate Mladineo will cater your trip based on your preferences.
Your skipper for the day is a professional tournament fisherman and president of a local big game fishing association. He grew up fishing the Adriatic since he was a young boy and has become an expert in a number of techniques. You can expect an entertaining and experienced guide whose main goal is to show you an amazing time on the water!
Your voyage will take place on a 30’ Fisherman motor yacht, outfitted with GPS, radar, top-of-the-line tackle, snorkeling gear, and safety equipment. The boat’s deck is spacious with room for up to 5 guests to sit back, relax, and fish at the same time. It also comes with a private head, making it perfect for full-day trips. Kids ages 10 and up are welcome aboard and they’ll be provided with kids’ sized life jackets.
You’ll spend the day fishing between the islands of Hvar and Vis to target big game fish such as Swordfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjack, and more. You can troll after Mackerel, drift for local favorites such as Common Pandora, John Dory, and Gilt-head, or jig for Seabass. Capt. Mate also provides snorkeling equipment if you’d like to take a dip and go for a swim.
You’ll be provided with sandwiches and local wine, beer, and rakija (homemade moonshine). Your fishing license is covered and you’ll also be supplied with state-of-the-art rods and reels made by Okuma, Penn, and Shimano.
Just be sure to arrive on time and make sure to pack some sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera. Get ready for this unique experience and join Tours Hvar for an exciting adventure on the Adriatic coast of Croatia!
