Looking for a seriously exhilarating offshore adventure? Or maybe you simply want to take a break from it all, and enjoy the fisherman’s life for a day? Located in the picturesque fishing town of Mount Pleasant, Charleston Yacht and Fishing Charters are here to hook you up with a trip you won’t forget!
The man behind the helm of this charter is Captain John, who’s been fishing since childhood. He’s experienced in fishing along the eastern seaboard, from Maryland to the Carolinas, and decided to start running charters so that he could introduce the thrill of the ocean to guests of all ages and skill levels. Inshore, nearshore, offshore – there’s something for everyone here.
You’ll be fishing from Capt. John’s pride and joy, a 38’ Luhrs saltwater fishing vessel named “Jezebel III,” with room for 6 guests. She doesn’t compromise when it comes to comfort, either. On board, you’ll find a full bathroom, couches to relax on, and even a flatscreen TV to pass the time when waiting for the fish to bite.
Capt. John specializes in customizing his trips for the comfort and enjoyment of his guests, so let him know what you’d like to catch. Newer anglers can explore inshore and nearshore waters for a variety of species, such as King Mackerel and the famous Redfish. This is also the perfect option for little ones who are just learning how to wield a rod.
More experienced angler? Capt. John will take you out to some seriously deep, blue waters, and maybe even to the edge of the continental shelf. Here, you’ll find huge Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, and Tuna. Bring plenty of energy, as these fish put up a serious fight.
Each trip includes rods, reels, bait, tackle, and a license. You should bring along food, drinks, and a non-spray sunscreen. Don’t forget to tip the first mate, who can then fillet your catch for you.
Come aboard Charleston Yacht and Fishing Charters and get ready to experience the best that these waters have to offer!
