Your guide will be Captain Pedro Figueroa. A passionate angler of over 20 years, he’s been running fishing charters since 2011 and knows all the best spots in the Gulf of Mexico. He still participates in fishing tournaments and has plenty of tricks up his sleeve to help you fill the boat.
Speaking of the boat, the 25’ Minta bay boat is the perfect vessel to get you exploring the bays and flats. Light and agile, she’ll speed off to the fishing grounds in no time, while also helping you stay afloat in the shallower spots. Up to 4 guests are welcome aboard to take advantage of the spacious deck, with all the latest fishing gear provided for a productive day out.
Choose between trolling, casting, or fly fishing, and experience the fishing trip of your dreams. Whatever you decide on, you’re in for a thrilling trip targeting some of the most prized inshore fish in the world.
Get ready for an intense workout as you battle it out against strong Snook and Permit, along with delicious Groupers, tough-fighting Barracuda, and monster Tarpon. Each of these creatures promises an intense fight, as they’ll do anything to get off the end of your line.
Capt. Pedro’s goal is to make sure that you have a fun day out, so he’ll provide plenty of water and sodas to keep you hydrated. Feel free to bring your own snacks aboard and fill the cooler to make the most of your day.
When your trip comes to an end, the captain will clean and fillet your catch. Head to a beachside restaurant in San Felipe and enjoy the fruits of your labor as the sun goes down. There’s nothing left for you to do, so come aboard Abuelo Fishing Tours and make your holiday one to remember!
