You’ll be fishing from a 22’ Pathfinder bay boat, equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, wireless trolling motor, live bait tank, and safety gear. The boat’s shallow draft is perfect for fishing shallow ponds, flats, inlets, and inshore waters. The deck is spacious with enough room for 4 guests to fish at the same time and kids are more than welcome aboard.
You’ll be fishing the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the rivers, bays, lakes, and marsh ponds that surround Port Arthur. Here, you’ll be able to target species such as Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Tripletail, and Spanish Mackerel. Capt. Will will provide you with state-of-the-art Shimano, Loose, and 13 Fishing rods and reels so you don’t have to lug around your own tackle.
Your captain is an expert fly fisher so if you have your own fly gear, bring it on board and Capt. Will will take you to the best spots for fly fishing. He caters each trip based on your level of experience as well as your preferences. If you’d like to relax and fish while sightseeing, or if you’d rather have an action-packed experience, both can be accommodated!
All you need is a fishing license, snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing based on the weather for that day. Please note, you can purchase your fishing license online or at one of the nearby shops in Port Arthur.
