Catch A Ray Charter offers inshore fishing charters in the gorgeous grass flats of St. Joseph Sound and Anclote Island. These pristine waters offer the opportunity to catch a number of saltwater game fish, including Snook, Redfish, and Spotted Seatrout.
This is shallow water flats fishing at its best! The area has many islands offering protection from wind if necessary. You’ll be fishing in waters from 1–10 feet deep, where predator fish ambush smaller bait fish and crustaceans.
Captain Thom welcomes you aboard the new 2020 Ranger 2260 Bay Boat powered with 200HP Mercury. State-of-the-art accessories include Simrad, Power Poles, Minn Kota trolling motor, and more. The boat is specifically built to access the shallowest of inshore waters, from 6 inches to 6 feet. It has a covered T-top, offering protection from the sun, and comes equipped with a remote control trolling motor to help you cruise silently in search of schooling fish. The Catch A Ray is equipped with all required safety equipment including a first aid kit, radio, signal devices, USCG approved flotation devices, and a fire extinguisher.
All tackle, licenses, and fishing gear are included. Your catch will be filleted on site for you to take home or to a local restaurant. Water, ice, and a cooler will be provided. Bring any snacks and additional beverages of your choice. Sunscreen and polarized sunglasses are highly recommended.
Your fishing tackle includes Daiwa and Shimano spinning reels. Rods by top manufacturers such as G Loomis, Falcon, Bull Bay, and Shimano are also provided along with all tackle, lures, and artificial and live bait. Closed reel “spincasters” are available for the kids, or the novice anglers. Baitcasters are available upon request.
Wade fishing is also an option, but you must bring your own wade boots or protective footwear. It’s a great way to cover a lot of water and experience the local shorelines and coves.
