The vessel also sports a wireless trolling motor, which allows you to be quiet and sneak up to the fish. Capt. Luis will provide high-end Penn and Shimano reels and All Star rods for you to use, as well as live bait. If you’d like to try fly fishing, you should bring your own fly fishing gear. Your captain has a basic rod, but an experienced fly fisherman will want their own equipment.

When it comes to your catch, you can expect a wide variety of species at the end of your line. Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel are the most common prey on shorter trips.

On full day expeditions, set your sights on Cobia, Amberjack, Black Drum,  and Sharks. Of course, there’s no knowing precisely what will find your hook irresistible, so pleasant surprises are always possible.
