From the stunning waters of the Everglades to the impressive 10,000 Islands and beyond, Florida on the Fly will take you to some of the best inshore fishing grounds in the US. Beautiful and full of fish, southern Florida’s shallow waters has something for everyone. Whether you’re an experienced angler looking for a grand slam or a family looking to get the kids hooked, Captain Ryan McFarland has you covered.
A passionate angler since childhood, Capt. Ryan always dreamed of a career on the water. He made his dream come true by moving to what he describes as the “Mecca” of fishing in Homestead. He hopes to inspire each and every customer by sharing his wealth of knowledge of the region, helping you find that prized fish.
Step aboard the 18’ Hells Bay Professional flats boat and discover the beauty of these waters. Light and agile, she’ll keep you afloat in even the skinniest of waters, getting you to the places that other boats can’t. Up to 3 people are welcome aboard to experience the magic and cast away. Bring your own food and drinks aboard, or let the captain know and he’ll provide what you need, and settle in for a fun-filled day.
Capt. Ryan will prepare everything you need. Using the latest fly fishing gear, you’ll practice the art of casting on the fly to attract some seriously tricky fish. You’ll want to work on your accuracy so as not to scare these spooky creatures away. Test your fly fishing skills to the max, as you go after Permit, Snook, Redfish, Trout, Bonefish, and even Tarpon.
If you fancy something a little more adventurous, get in touch with your captain and let him know that you’d like to go spearfishing. He’ll provide all the necessary gear and get you practicing the ancient art of fishing with a spear for certain species.
Everything you need for a productive day out is waiting for you with Florida on the Fly. Come aboard and experience fishing like no other in some of the most stunning settings imaginable!
