Finnaholic Fishing Charters
Finnaholic Fishing Charters is a family owned business, with a father and son duo at the helm, both born and raised on the water. This duo comes from a long line of boat builders and fishermen. The Williams’ captains are commercial fishermen, dropping lines and catching fish anywhere in the Chesapeake Bay.
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 35’ Markley, built by none other than the legend himself, Capt. Tyler’s grandfather, The Boss, Captain Ben Markley. This vessel, both a fishing machine and a piece of art, accommodates up to 6 guests and there’s enough room for everyone to fish at the same time. She’s powered by a mighty 435 HP Caterpillar engine, has a private toilet, and an air-conditioned cabin with a bed.
Capt. Tyler will meet you at 5:30 sharp to head out offshore. Finding a great fishing spot is different on each trip so it can take anywhere from 1–2.5 hours to drop the anchor. You’ll be trolling, bottom fishing, and using light tackle. Your main catch for the day will be Striped Bass (Rockfish) but in freshwater, you can also reel in Catfish and White Perch.
The captain will provide your fishing equipment, lures, and have live bait ready before the trip. After the trip, he’ll clean your catch free of charge. Bring your snacks and drinks for the day. A camera is always a great idea!
Finnaholic Fishing Charters runs trips only during the weekends. Make sure to book your spot on time!
