Awesome day on Rhino Charger! Capt. & crew were super knowledgeable and focused on helping us achieve our goal of landing a billfish. Unfortunately the billfish didn’t want to cooperate, as we raised 2 sails and had a 250+ lb Blue Marlin check out our baits but not commit. However it was still an incredible day! We caught 7 Mahi to 30lbs and 4 Yellowfin Tuna to 15lbs. Saw thousands of Spinner Dolphin, lots of flying fish, and a sea turtle. Lunch was amazing, and Rhino Charger has all the gear and the perfect setup for trolling. Definitely recommend, and we would absolutely go out with them again if we make it back to Tamarindo!

Boat was clean and the crew was awesome. Plenty of refreshments and the lunch they made was delicious. They were professional and kind. Glad we booked this boat over others as it had more coverage to get us out of the hot sun. If we come back to Costa Rica we’ll definitely book with Rhino charger again. Thanks fellas!

We had 5 adults in our party for a full day of fishing. The first 3/4 of the day we didn’t have a bite - looking for billfish and mahi. We finally dropped lines deeper and hit a school of tuna. Had fish on 4 lines at once. The crew was great - had control of what could have been chaos. We ended the day with 4 yellowfin tuna and a sailfish. We all caught fish, which was great. Only regret is that we didn’t have more time once the fish were biting.  Ample food and drinks provided throughout. Homemade hot lunch was delicious. If you want to fish in Tamarindo, you will be in good hands with Captain Mike and his crew.

I fish all over the place, have fished Costa Rica numerous times and can say Rhino Chanters Spirt Fishing is awesome. They know the waters, are super friendly and accommodating and get the job done. We were after tuna and Mahi. We landed 4 Tuna and 6 Mahi. Wonderful day. So good we booked a second day. Can’t go wrong with these guys. If you are in Tamarindo and want to fish- look no further.

My family and I had an excellent day with the Rhino Charger team. We had our expectations managed prior to going on the trip (it’s called fishing, not catching) but man were we excited when we landed a sailfish no more than 45 minutes after leaving the harbor. After the sailfish we all managed to catch great sized mahi mahi! Many thank yous to the crew who were very helpful and attentive!
