Oilfield Outkasts – Target Depth
Join the Oilfield Outkasts on their all-new 31’ Twin Vee catamaran and get ready to explore the Gulf like never before! Captain Rodney Harper and his crew are a team of professional captains with a fleet of 5 fishing vessels, specializing in inshore, nearshore, and offshore excursions.
The newest addition to their fleet was built in 2019 with all of the latest technology and fishing amenities designed to bring you closer to the action than ever before. She’s decked out with brand-new Garmin and Airmar navigational equipment, autopilot, outriggers and downriggers for trolling, and a Fusion sound-system so you can bump up your favorite tunes while you fish. She can take up to 6 guests and also has a camp-potty, making her great for long offshore trips.
She got the name “Target Depth” because she’s built to withstand the rough offshore waters of the Gulf. You’ll cruise out of Bridge Bait and target Bull Reds, Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, and Mangrove Snapper. You’ll continue to head into deeper territory where you’ll start hookin’ Kingfish, Barracuda, Cobia, Sharks, and many others. On offshore excursions, you can expect to target Mahi Mahi, Hammerhead Sharks, and various Tuna species.
Capt. Rodney is a USCG and Texas State licensed guide, as well as a certified Weighmaster and a Texas Saltwater Tournament director. He’s an expert at a variety of fishing techniques, so you can expect a knowledgable guide to show you how to land a monster fish. You can bottom fish, drift, jig, pop, troll, or go deep sea fishing. The choice is yours! Just let Capt. Rodney know what fish you want to target and he’ll make it happen.
Top-quality tackle, bait, and lures will be provided, as well. You can also have your catch cleaned and filleted so you can take it home for a delicious meal. Just pick up a fishing license, pack up some snacks and drinks, and get ready to enjoy a productive day of fishing with Oilfield Outkasts!
