Brad is so passionate about fishing that he even makes some of his own gear. There’s nothing better than fishing with an expert who knows the best places and techniques to help you reel in your dream catch.

The day will be spent on a 20’ bay boat. This is perfect for 4 anglers to fish from on the Choctawhatchee Bay, a great fishing spot on an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico. The boat is a stable ride that can maneuver it’s way into hard to reach areas.

Species you’ll be targeting include Red Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Black Drum, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and more. The captain will let you know which fish can be legally kept and will fillet these for you after the trip. Make sure you have a cooler in the car to take them home in.

Children are more than welcome on board and will enjoy catching their first fish. Parents will need to bring a life vest with them for any children under 8 years of age.

Included in the price are top quality rods and reels from Penn, Shimano, and more. The captain will usually get live bait for you before the trip, but you may need to cast a net for bait during the trip. Even your fishing license for the day is included in the price of the trip.

You’ll need to bring along a few bits with you, such as snacks and drinks for the day. You’ll also need sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Wear light layers and deck shoes and you’re good to go.

"I grew up in Destin Florida in the early 80's and then moved to Tennessee. I decided that I wanted to become a captain and run charters, so my family located back to Destin in 2014 so I could pursue my dreams. Fishing is my passion and I want to share it with the world." Captain Brad loves to fish, meet new people, and get you onto your desired catch. He even makes some of his own fishing equipment. One of his favorite bites was a 45 lb Jack Crevalle.
