They say fishing runs in the blood and Four Sons Charters is the proof of that. This is a family affair, with father and sons all taking the helm. You’ll be spending the day fishing with either father Tom, or eldest Johnston, or second eldest Hundley. These guys know where the fish are biting and will do everything they can to make sure you have an unforgettable adventure on board with them.
The day will be spent on the 35’ boat “Fish Tank’d.” She is built for going offshore and chasing monsters. The boat is decked out with full navigational and safety equipment so you can fish with peace of mind. There’s a private restroom for your comfort and a fighting chair to help you when reeling in that trophy catch.
Depending on whether you spend the day bottom fishing or fishing in the Gulf Stream, you can expect to target species such as Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and plenty more.
The bottom fishing trip will take you out up to 30 miles from shore. This trip is best for families with kids. Life vests for the little ones are on board. On longer trips heading further out, it can take up to 2 hours to get to the fishing grounds, making these trips better for those who have their sea legs.
Included in the price of the trip are top quality rods and reels from Shimano. There is also one fly fishing rod on board for you to use. You’ll be catching live bait during the trip, giving you the chance to experience every aspect of fishing on the day. The fishing license is also included in the price.
You’ll need to bring along food and drinks, which can go into the captain’s cooler. Don’t forget to bring non-spray sunscreen and a jacket with you.
Four Sons Charters is looking forward to welcoming you on board for an unforgettable day out on the water.
