I booked this charter at the last minute but it was an excellent decision! It was my son and my first time going on a salt water fishing charter. By the smile on his face I knew he had a great time! While the fish didn’t bite the best we still caught some nice fish.
  Captain Mike knew where to go to get on some fish! He was knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had, even the dumb ones.  Probably the coolest thing for me (as a father taking his son fishing) was the fact that Captain Mike’s own daughter and her friend were his helpers on our trip. It was cool to see a father and daughter work as a team to make our experience the best it could be. Highly recommend this charter!

Before booking I had several questions that captain mike answered within an hour or so. His quick response was greatly appreciated and I ended up booking immediately. Due to rain forecasted for that day early in the week I was skeptical of 4 hours being enough to fulfill what we expected out of the trip but captain mike was very knowledgeable of that area and he put us on the snapper immediately and we had our limit soon after arriving on our spot. With the remaining time we had left we had enough time to try a couple of rigs and were once again on the fish. If you’re worried about being out on the water for too long with the little ones this four hour trip was perfect for my 10 year old and he said it was one of his best trips out in water so far.  We will definitely reach out to mike next time we are in gulf shores.

Mike was super authentic, laid back, and amazingly helpful! We enjoyed hanging out with him and fishing with him was one of the best parts of our time in the area! We both feel like we genuinely made a new friend, and can’t wait for the next trip we take so we can book something else with him! Great dude. Real as they come. 100% will be back to see him every time we go. Captain Mike is exactly the guy you want if you are looking for a super chill time that’s equally enjoyable, and if you are wanting to have a blast BOOK MIKE! 100% experienced and knowledgeable on marine life and salt water fishing, true fisherman. Gave us great local knowledge you’d never see in an add or online. In fact we loved him so much we bought him a gift and met him the next day before we left to give it to him! Guys. Can’t wait to go back and adventure the island more, and make more friends like I feel like we did with Cap. Mike. We will be calling him every time we go, and so will all of our friends and family! Great dude, great boat, great personality… I could go on for days. Straight up all around hood dude, and I literally have nothing at all that I could complain about. He is great at what he does and he is super down to earth. Felt like hanging out with a friend I had known most my life for both myself and Marcel!  Thank you for giving Marcel the chance to do something he has always wanted to do.

Scheduled 6am to 10am but bait took longer than expected so Mike started time an hour later. Headed offshore were all anglers caught multiple fish including snapper, spade, Jack and 2 unknown sea monsters that broke off. Mike and his crew were fun, knowledgeable, passionate, and really went the extra mile! Would recommend Captain Mike to anyone looking for an offshore fishing charter.  We will be back next year to fish with Captain Mike again! Thanks Mike, Deck hand Lenly, and first Mate Cardi D! Awesome experience!

Took my son and a buddy for their first charter fishing trip, had a great time with Captain Mike, Cardi and his daughter.  They where very knowledgeable and very helpful for us inexperienced fisherman.  I would book a trip with Captain Mike again.
