Are you ready for a fishing adventure in the Seychelles? Then you need to book a trip with Mae Guide Angler today. Captain Eddie has over 3 decades of fishing experience and is a local who knows all the hot spots to go to. He and his crew are very familiar with the continental shelf drop-off points close to Bird Island and other islands close by, as well as in-depth knowledge of the very productive fishing grounds off the coast of Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue.
Step aboard the 31’ boat that has enough room for groups of 6 to fish comfortably. All anglers can fish at the same time, apart from trolling – this is when 4 lines will be in the water only. The boat is decked out in safety and navigational equipment, so you can fish with peace of mind. This is a specialist modern big game fishing boat, perfect for a productive day of fishing.
Capt. Eddie and his crew use high-quality fishing equipment that includes 6 big game fishing rods and harness, a fighting chair, and outriggers that are perfect for catching Marlin and other big game. It can take up to an hour to reach the fishing grounds, so don’t forget your seasick medication if you need it.
Species you can target include Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Giant Trevally, Red Emperor Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and many more. The fish that you keep can be filleted by the crew for an additional cost. Please note that, although you’re welcome to keep some fish for your dinner, most hotels on the island will not allow fish inside.
Included in the price of the trip are top quality rod and reels from Penn and Shimano, as well as snacks on a half day trip and lunch on the full day trip. Drinks are provided on all trips. Your fishing license is also included.
Book a trip with Mae Guide Angler today for an unforgettable adventure the whole group will love.
