Bona Fide Inshore Charters
To explore the productive fishing grounds on the Alabama Gulf Coast, join Bona Fide Inshore Charters. Captain Shane Traylor has spent over 40 years on the water honing his fishing skills and his passion only grew! He always strives to provide an unforgettable experience for anglers of all skill levels.
Whether your goal is to catch your very first fish or to reel in the fish of a lifetime, Capt. Shane will provide you with every opportunity to experience the fantastic year-round fishery of the area.
You’ll go out on his 24’ Skeeter boat that has everything you’ll need for a productive day. There’s a wireless trolling motor on board, so you can catch even the most fearful species! The boat can accommodate 3 anglers apart from your captain.
Capt. Shane will provide you with top-quality spinning gear. If you’re up for some fly fishing, note that you need to bring your own equipment. You’ll be fishing using live bait, but the captain has an arsenal of artificial lures if you like a little challenge.
The Mobile Bay ecosystem has a lot of unique areas that can only be explored by boat. The tidal rivers here are rich with life and the Mobile Delta offers a fishing experience rarely found in other places.
You’ll target a variety of species including Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Tripletail, Sheepshead, and Jack Crevalle. Capt. Shane can clean and bag your catch if you wish to keep some for the table, so don’t forget a cooler to take it home.
The captain is flexible, so you can arrange to go out later in the day, and he’ll be happy to hear any special requests. He’ll provide a cooler with ice and water, but make sure to bring some snacks and drinks to stay refreshed. Bring some sun protection and dress appropriately for the weather, and you have nothing else to worry about!
Everything you really need is a positive attitude, and you’re ready to have a memorable time with Bona Fide Inshore Charters!
