Corks and Croakers – Galveston Bay
Experience the ultimate Texas inshore fishing with Corks and Croakers! Capt. Mike has been fishing the Galveston Bay for the past 15 years and nothing can surprise him in these waters. He’ll gladly share a fishing adventure with you, whether you’re experienced or you’re fishing for the first time.
Capt. Mike runs trips from Galveston but you can also find him in Texas City. You’ll be fishing aboard a 22’ Sea Pro boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 150 HP Mecury engine and features GPS and all necessary safety equipment. The boat also has a wireless trolling motor, a cooler, and a live bait tank.
Your main species for the day will be the Texan Big Three – Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout. They are available in these waters year round, so you don’t have to wait for their season to come. You can keep the catch and the captain will clean it for you free of charge.
Capt. Mike also supplied your rods, reels, and lures. If you’re using live bait, that comes with an extra cost – $25/qt for shrimps and $15/doz for live croakers. Water and Gatorade are also included in the price but you can always bring your own beverages and some snacks.
Inshore trips are a great introduction to the world of fishing. You don’t need previous fishing experience and they are also family-friendly. With Corks And Croakers and a knowledgeable captain, you simply can’t go wrong!
