Ocean Outfitters is proud to introduce you to the finest fishing opportunities on offer in Tofino, British Columbia! This company specializes in providing conservation-friendly trips for guests of all skill levels and especially loves introducing families to what these waters hold. With Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and plenty more on offer, you’ll be in for a treat no matter whether you’re a newbie or an expert-level angler.
This charter company is inspired by Henry David Thoreau, who once said: “Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not the fish they are after.” Ocean Outfitters recognizes that recreational anglers the world over are becoming more conservation-minded. Rather than taking home a huge haul of fish, it’s all about being on the water and taking in the salty ocean air, rod in hand, feeling at one with nature.
If you’ve got conservation in mind, you’ll love your crew’s catch-and-release fishing initiatives. After catching what you’ll eat for supper, you’ll be encouraged to release anything else that you hook, in order to ensure the continuation of these species for future generations. Hooking some tasty table fare and helping to conserve fish, too – what could be better?
You’ll be traveling on board a 28’ Grady White sportfishing vessel, built to accommodate up to 4 guests. There’s a private toilet on board, as well as a variety of top-quality navigational and safety equipment. When it comes to the fishing gear, you’ll use barbless hooks, as well as state-of-the-art technology to maintain the long-term sustainability of local and migratory fish stocks.
This equipment is included in each trip, and will help you hook huge Coho and Chinook Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and other world-famous fish. If you want to explore inshore waters, you can drop traps for Dungeness Crabs, too – this is great for little ones. Eco and Fishing Tax are not included, so prepare to pay this. Come aboard Ocean Outfitters for an incredible adventure!
