I booked this fishing charter as a gift for my son’s 16 birthday. We were on a cruise with carnival. We were able to book the cruise to match up with our time ashore. Mario and his crew were attentive to the cruise schedule and made sure we got back to the boat well with in the allotted time frame. I am so glad we booked with Mario and did not go through the Carnival promoted shore experiences.  We had a great time and we’re able to reel in a bunch of fish. When I mentioned that trip was a gift for my son Mario went out of his way to get him a birthday cake! Also the harbor his boat docks in is very close to the carnival pier. We got a taxi to the harbor but could easily have walked there had we known the main road from the pier to the harbor had a bicycle/pedestrian side street. Mario is a great captain and very knowledgeable of where and how to fish the area.

I booked a 4hrs reef fiching trip for my boyfriend and I as he loves to fish so I thought this would be a different experience than what we are used to in Canada.
We had an awesome day with Mario and Frank, they are really knowledgeable of the waters around the island. We encountered rainfall during the trip but the boat was well equipped to face the short storm and it really ended up not being a big deal. We ended the day with a few fishes which Mario gutted for us and we ate them for dinner that same night.
Mario was even nice enough to give us a ride back to town!
Overall an amazing experience for sure.
I highly recommend this trip, we will definitely book them again when we return to Cozumel.

Abrimar Fishing Trips is a first class operation. Captain Mario and his first mate Frank gave us a great fishing experience.  The 3 of us are by no means seasoned fisher people but the crew explained what we needed to do and set up all our equipment.  We were able to catch enough fish to take home for dinner and per their recommendations on how to prepare the Trigger fish and Red Snapper had a wonderful fish dinner.  If you are looking to have a really fun fishing experience these are the guys to go to, you will not be disappointed. On our future trips to Cozumel we will definitely go fishing with Abrimar and will recommend them to any of our friends vacationing there.  All you need to do is book the trip and Mario and Frank take care of everything else. Mario runs a first class operation.  I have fished many places all over the world and Captain Mario was a joy to fish with and really cares about getting his clients on the fish.  He speaks fluent english and is very enjoyable to talk with.  My trip was wonderful. Frankie his deck hand works hard to change lure colors, rig baits and does his best to catch you fish.  This is a great boat to fish on and I will fish with Mario and Frankie on all my future trips to Cozumel.  Thank You Mario and Frankie for an excellent fishing experience!!!
