Want to book a trip that offers variety for anglers of every skill level? Then look no further, and book a trip with Earning Stripes Sportfishing today. Captain Greg grew up surrounded by fishing and knew that he had to follow his passion and make fishing his full-time job. He will do everything he can to make sure you have a productive day out on the water, whether this is your first time fishing or your hundredth.
The day will be spent on a 45’ Hatteras sportfishing boat. There is plenty of space to fish, so your group of 6 can be comfortable on the ride out and avoid crossing lines. The boat is decked out with full safety and navigational equipment so you can fish with peace of mind.
The fish will vary depending on where you choose to cast your line. Close to shore and in the bays, you can expect to reel in the likes of Red Drum (Redfish), Cobia, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Rockfish, Black Seabass, and plenty more. The captain will let you know which fish can be kept and will fillet these for you after the trip.
Children over 4 are welcome on board. They’ll love the calmer waters of the bay and the great action found there. Live vests are on board for them.
If you’re traveling by yourself but want to get out on the water, just join a shared trip. Families and groups of friends can book a private trip to have the boat to themselves.
Included in the price of the trip are top-quality rods and reels. These won’t let you down when reeling in your dream catch! Live bait is used for some species and will be included, too. This is usually prepared before the trip.
Don’t forget to bring your food and drink for the day. This can go into the captain’s cooler. Grab your non-spray sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, and you’re ready to go. Don’t forget the mate works for tips (20% customary).
All that’s left to do is book a trip with Earning Stripes Sportfishing. Capt. Greg can’t wait to welcome you on board!
