Taking a trip with Black Rose Fishing Charters is one of the best ways to experience the water of Massachusetts. Captain Rich trailers his boat to the best ramp for the fish you’re targeting, depending on the season. You can start your adventure from Marshfield, Plymouth, Mattapoisett, South Yarmouth, Orleans, and Buzzards Bay.

You’ll be fishing on a 25’ C-Hawk that accommodates up to 4 guests. This pilothouse is powered by a 250 HP Evinrude engine and reaches the maximum speed of 30 knots. With less time traveling, you’ll spend more time fishing and getting more opportunities for your trophy. Besides a live bait tank, the boat also features the latest navigational electronics, so you’ll always be sure you’re on the right spot.

If you join between April till December, you’ll have a great shot at Haddock. This fish is not too hard to catch, not too big, and very tasty. If you’re a beginner, this is one of the best targets to start with. If you’re looking for a bigger challenge, try Striped Bass! But if you’re here for something to brag with for a long time, there’s nothing better than Bluefin Tuna!

These aren’t the only targets and you can also catch Flounder, Shark, Whiting, Cod, Bluefish, Pollock, and more.

The captain will take care of your fishing equipment and licenses. After the trip, he’ll also clean the catch, so you can take it straight to the frying pan. Just pack some snacks and drinks for the day and you’re ready to go.

    Let’s catch some big fish. Sharks are plentiful here and 10+ sharks in a day are common. This trip is mostly catch and release, but you can keep edible Sharks if you wish. You'll use appropriate gear for the battle and have scaled-down versions for kids and smaller adults.

I love people. Every trip is different, so I don't feel like a taxi driver. I feel like a host showing people my world. I have access to many ports in Massachusetts, so I can get you to the fish that are biting. I love light tackle, casting to breaking fish, and jigging. I will also troll and use live bait as requested. Tuna fishing – everyone loves watching "Wicked Tuna," so why not live it? Best species on earth! I love Tuna and Sharks.
