Specializing in state water Snapper trips, Port Aransas Sportfishing will take you hunting the productive nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Along the Texan coastal bend, you’ll have a wealth of fish to target, in addition to the famed Snapper. Come and test your skills against some prized species and fill the boat with some delicious fish!
Captain Brandon McClellan is a Port Aransas native. Having grown up on these waters, he knows the hotspots like the back of his hand. With over 20 years of fishing experience, he promises to help you land that all-important first catch, and hopes to see you walk away with a smile on your face.
Aboard his 28’ Glacier Bay catamaran, you’ll have everything you need for a productive day on the water. Families of up to 6, including 4 adults, are welcome aboard to make the most of this spacious vessel. Fitted with outriggers, you’ll troll these open waters, while the live bait tank will be full and ready for you to target a range of exciting fish.
Try bottom fishing the reefs and wrecks, along with the shallower waters inshore, while you’ll use the trolling lines further out. On shorter trips, you’ll go after some delicious Redfish, Sheepshead, and Triggerfish, exciting Jacks and Trout, and many more.
Longer trips will see you hunting the prized Red Snapper. Try to catch your limit before moving onto Mackerel or Cobia. One thing’s for sure, wherever you go, you won’t be given an easy ride! Expect a rod-bending, pulse-racing experience as these monsters try anything to get off the end of your line.
Capt. Brandon has a cooler on board for you to fill with your own drinks and snacks, so come prepared for a full day out. At the end of the day, he’ll even take you to a nearby facility to have your catch cleaned and filleted. All you need to do is grab your Texas fishing license and hop aboard. A real Gulf fishing experience awaits with Port Aransas Sportfishing!
