Are you ready for an offshore adventure of a lifetime? These guys have a whole fleet at their disposal (click on the bio below to see more of their boats) and decades of experience.
Hop on board the 60’ Bertram boat, which can easily have groups of up to 10 on board. At any one point, 3 people can be fishing at the same time. This boat offers a smooth and stable ride and has an enclosed head, a saloon, and plenty of seating. It might be a 40-mile ride out to the furthest fishing grounds, but you’ll be relaxed and comfortable the whole way out.
You’ll most be trolling, but you can also expect some bottom fishing and casting with live bait. Some of the top species you’ll be targeting include Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Snapper, Roosterfish, Wahoo, and plenty more. The captain will let you know which species need to be released and which ones can be kept – the keepers will be cleaned for you after the trip.
Included in the price of the trip are top quality rods and reels from Penn and Shimano – these won’t let you down when reeling in your trophy catch. Let the captain know before the trip if you’d like him to bring snorkeling gear on the trip – there’s no extra charge for this. The fishing licenses are $20 per person in cash and live bait is around $20 for half day and around $30 for full day
Children of all ages are welcome on board and will have life vests provided for them. They’ll have a great story to tell their friends back at school after a trip with Cabo Sport Fishing.
You’ll need to bring along food and drink on your trip – fishing works up an appetite! Remember, the first mate will work hard on your behalf, so tipping is highly appreciated at the end of the trip. The industry standard for tipping the first mate is 15-20% of the total trip price. A $15 port fee is to be paid per boat for every trip.
Pack your sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, and you’ll be ready to fish with Cabo Sport Fishing! What are you waiting for? See ya in Cabo!
