Color Change Charters offers private trips only, so the captain can give you his full attention and provide a tailored experience. His priority is to provide you with nothing but the best, and make fishing with him the highlight of your trip to Key West!

The vessel that will take you to your adventure is one of the top fishing boats around. The Conch 27 is a 27’ center console that accommodates up to 6 guests. Key West guides helped design this boat, so the layout is one that serious anglers have admired since its introduction. She’s powered with twin 225 HP Yamaha four strokes and equipped with a 60 gallon live well, plenty of storage, and 26 rod holders. She always provides a smooth and sturdy ride to make your trip a pleasant experience!

In these abundant waters, you can have an action-packed day even on an inshore trip. You’ll target Snappers, Groupers, Tarpon, or Hogfish. Key West’s famous artificial reefs and shipwrecks hide lots of Cobia, Barracuda, Amberjack, Shark, and many more. But for those who really want to challenge themselves and target big game fish, an offshore trip is the way to go. This is where you can target Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, or Marlin.

Your fishing equipment, license, lures, and fresh live bait are covered. You can bring your snacks and drinks for the day. Don’t forget your sunglasses! After the trip, the captain will clean, fillet, and vacuum seal your catch.

    Come experience the beautiful water of the Florida Keys at night! Diving for lobster not your thing? Well, this is the trip for you! Crusie the flats on our fully customized 14' skiff powered with a 70 HP Yamaha and underwater flounder gigging lights. Lobster will crawl the flats looking for food at night and that's when we strike! All lobster is caught with our customized nets. 4 people max on every trip. 4 hour max time limit or until you reach your limit of 6 lobster per person.

    With the 3/4 day trip you will have plenty of time to experience multiple types of fishing.     The full day trip is recommended for the more serious group of fishermen. Always a great trip to fill your coolers full with a bunch of quality meat for the freezer!

Twenty years ago I started coming to Key West for the winter months to get out of the harsh winter months in New York. Over the years, I learned the waters for the Florida Keys very well and fished any spare time I had on my father's boat. In 2012 I decided to move to Key West and make what I loved into my career. For the first year, I worked as a mate on a commercial fishing boat. In 2013 I bought the Color Change and started commercial fishing and building a successful business. Every day is spent on the water, whether I am running trips or commercial fishing, which in turn gives me a great idea of where to go and what’s biting to put my customers on the best fishing possible. I’m blessed to be able to wake up and do what I love every day, and I look forward to sharing my love for the water with many happy clients.
