Join FishBilly Charters to fish Lake Michigan and inland lakes around Traverse City, Leland, Suttons Bay and Lake Leelanau.  Get ready to have a blast with Captain Billy Stephenson! You’ll be fishing the best bite either jigging, casting or trolling productive waters in search of world-class freshwater species. Capt. Billy has been fishing the Great Lakes all of his life and knows all the sweet spots in order to put you on big fish!

Your boat for the day is a 19’ Lund Tyee performance fisher, built in 2016 and fully equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and fishing gear. She comes with Cannon Optimax downriggers, a wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, and safety gear. You’ll be fishing with top-of-the-line Blood Run, Shimano, Daiwa & Okums rods and reels so you get the most professional experience while on board.

Depending on the time of year, you’ll be targeting Salmon, Lake Trout, Cisco, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Perch, Whitefish and Northern Pike. These prolific waters are abundant with freshwater species that are delicious and also fun to catch!

All you need to do is purchase a fishing license online or at a nearby shop and arrive 15 minutes before your trip. Feel free to bring a cooler with snacks and drinks, and the rest will be taken care of.

We use various launch sites in the area and typically launch closest to the best bite happening depending on the time of year.  Typically we will meet at one of the following launch locations: Leland, Traverse City, Suttons Bay, or Lake Leelanau.
