Cartagena Fishing II

Spend the day with Cartagena Fishing and discover what these waters are all about! With a seasoned Captain at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience. They are a trusted and knowledgeable fishing team in the Caribbean waters.

Barracuda, Amberjack, Snook, Sailfish, Snapper, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Kingfish, Grouper, Blue Marlin, Hammerhead Shark, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season.

On these trips, it’s common to do spearfishing. Jigging, deep dropping, and live baiting are some different techniques we use to initiate a strike on predatory species. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

You’ll be welcome aboard a 31’ Center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. Todomar has been the leading production vessel in Colombia for 30 years. These boats are built like war machines. Test drive our vessel yourself! It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. Snacks and drinks are included on all trips, but encourage clients to bring along any items they may want or need. Full day trips, we can stop off at an island resort in the Roasiros for lunch.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Give yourself a shot at a true Caribbean trophy with Cartagena Fishing!

From the start of my life, I was born into a salt family. The first time I was taken fishing was at the age of 2. Fishing is part of my soul. From then on, I set out to conquer all styles of fishing from the high county in Colorado to the Colombian Caribbean. I became more and more knowledgeable as time progressed, as one would. My passion for others to have a great fight and enjoy a fish for dinner the same day is my goal for our customers.
