East Cape Charters – Fish-On
East Cape Charters offers amazing sportfishing trips for anglers of all skill levels. Captain Oscar is a local who’s been fishing in these waters for decades and he knows all the good spots.
“Fish-On” is their smaller boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. If you have a larger party that can’t wait to go fishing, check out their second listing for “Ya-Babe”, that accommodates up to 6 guests.
Fish-On is a 25’ Mako boat, that’s powered by a 225 HP Honda 4-stroke engine. She can reach the speed of 35 knots if necessary, which means you’ll reach your fishing spot fast. But if you’re here in summer, the best spots are close to the shore anyway, so going offshore for miles most of the time won’t be needed. The boat also has a private toilet, tuna tubes, outriggers, a live bait tank, and a cooler with ice.
Closer to the shore, you can target Snapper and Roosterfish, which come as a great exercise if you’re new to the world of fishing. For those a bit more experienced, Marlin, Tuna, and Sailfish should be on the to-do list. You’ll use trolling, drift fishing, popping, jigging, or anything else that might work.
The captain will cover your fishing equipment and lures. If you think live baits work better, you can purchase them before the trip. Don’t forget your fishing license, snacks, and drinks for the day.
East Cape Charters will make sure everyone on their boat is having a great time! You don’t have to catch the biggest fish, it’s all about the experience and trying out something new.
