Bite Me! Charters Galveston and Captain Chad invite you to join them for a fun-filled time on the water! This charter service offers short introductory trips designed for the family to enjoy and specializes in teaching kids the fundamentals of fishing. Bring your family along for a trip that is sure to be full of picture-perfect moments. Guaranteed to catch some fish, experience up-close dolphin sightings and have a great time leaving memories that will last!
The boat you will be enjoying is a Pioneer 22’ center console equipped with a Yamaha outboard engine. It has a covered top so your group can enjoy sun or shade. The captain allows groups of up to four people and you can all fish comfortably at the same time. Shorter trips are family-friendly with dock amenities close by and allow anglers to target a variety of species.
Captain Chad has acquired much of his fishing experience in the Galveston area and has spent the past 10 years as a guide getting closely familiar with some of Galveston’s best fishing grounds. He is great with kids (check reviews!) and most of all enjoys helping them fall in love with fishing. His goal is to make certain your group leaves with a real excitement for fishing and grow knowledge of basic techniques and an understanding of how to develop a safe routine. He will work to ensure individuals in your group are having a fun and comfortable experience. On all Bite Me! Charters Galveston fishing trips, quality rods and reels and all the necessary bait and tackle are provided.
On the day of your trip, please arrive 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled departure time. Bring up to medium-sized cooler with drinks and snacks (no bottles please). Motion sickness medications are not recommended. Sea sickness is almost never an issue on these introductory trips. Everyone ages 17 and up that will be fishing will need at least a one-day fishing license obtainable online or at any hunting/fishing counter. All that’s left to do now is go have fun!
