Nicawaves Fishing Charters

Come aboard Nicawaves Fishing Charters and discover some of the world’s most prized fish, as you explore the rich waters of southern Nicaragua. Leave the crowded beaches behind and head to your happy place – all alone offshore. With no distractions, you can get your fish on against monster creatures, reeling in a prized catch with great rewards at the end of the day.

Who better to help you fill the boat than a passionate, experienced angler? Captain Erik Scheeler hails from the rich fishing grounds of Cape May, NJ, and fished all along the East Coast and Bahamas before settling on Nicaragua to run his fishing charter. To this day, he still loves getting on the water, and promises to show you a fun-filled, productive day out.

Step aboard the local style, 25’ Imemsa panga boat and explore these rich waters for yourself. Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard to make yourselves at home as you head up to 15 miles offshore in search of some of the world’s most sought-after fish. Bring your own drinks and snacks aboard to stock the cooler, and away you go on the fishing trip of a lifetime.

Choose between an inshore or offshore trip, and explore the various fishing spots out of Popoyo. Test your fishing skills as you bottom fish the shallows, or show off your strength as you troll the open waters, and there’s no end to what you can catch.

Dazzling Jacks, Snappers, and Roosterfish nearshore give way to monstrous Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Sailfish offshore, to give you the fight of your life!

The crew will set up the trolling lines from the outriggers, while the livewell will be stocked full of bait to give you the edge over your target fish. Everything you need for a productive day awaits you on board, so there’s nothing left for you to do.

Nicawaves Fishing Charters is calling you aboard to make the most of your holiday. Come and discover Nicaragua’s rich Pacific waters during what promises to be a thrilling trip!
