Description

Whether you are planning to visit the beautiful state of Florida, or you are lucky enough to live there, you will not be able to find a more relaxing and exciting a way of spending a day than being out on the pristine waters around Tampa Bay. And with a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain who has over thirty years experience on board, you, your family, or your business clients will be in the best possible position to have an entertaining and safe journey through these waters.

On a charter with Capt. Chris you could be fishing with live bait, artificials, or fly fishing for the area’s many highly regarded species such as Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Cobia, and Trout. Otherwise you might be on the hunt for Kingfish, Sharks, Mackerel, Snapper, and Grouper, depending on the time of year. Larger groups can be accommodated by coordinating multi-boat charters, and corporate events and fundraising fishing tournaments can also be arranged, including turnkey operations from invitations and shirts to photos and awards.

The Tampa Bay area has countless miles of pristine waterways, including open bays, passes, mangrove lined backcountry, shallow grass flats, and sugar sand beaches - all of which create a world class fishery and also support Florida’s nickname as the “Fishing Capital of the World”.

Whether you are a novice or seasoned angler, Capt. Chris has the experience, knowledge, and outgoing personality to ensure that your day on the water will be successful, memorable, and most of all, relaxing and fun.

We went out of the Gandy boat launch which was very convenient for us.  Chris immediately established what kind of fishing we would like to do which was catch fish for a fish fry dinner with family and friends.  Chris referred to this as “getting the groceries”.  We cruised out and limited on Mangrove Snappers probably within 2 hours.  After grocery shopping was completed, we cruised to a few other spots that produced some good catch and release fun with snook, jack, lady fish, and more snappers.  All the while, Chris was very informative about fishing in general almost as if class was in session and he was the instructor.  It was a great time and we will definitely book with Chris again.

Can not say enough good things about our trip with Chris.  He had us on tarpon both days 90% of both days. We eventually got 1 to bite but literally saw and were in the middle of hundreds. Ask him how he became a hound fish specialist :)  we’re already talking about booking with him in 2017.  Enough said

The Tarpon were definitely not cooperating for most of the day but your patience and persistence paid off.  Great fishing with you guys. Hope we get to do it again.
